I started Vonk Consulting in 2018, after leading hardware engineering teams at SiTime and Apple.

At SiTime, I led the MEMS design team in developing quartz crystal alternatives. The custom simulation tools, circuits, and resonator designs that we developed contributed to industry-leading timing performance and a successful acquisition.

At Apple, I managed the 3D Touch electrical engineering architecture team for the iPhone X, served as technical lead on several other projects, and consulted with teams throughout the company on assorted problems.

I was educated at UC Berkeley and Stanford. At Stanford, I developed MEMS-based tools to study the sense of hearing at the molecular scale. My publication record includes 40+ journal and conference publications, 6+ patents, and one book.
